Our Leadership Team
Based in the UK and Netherlands, our senior team has extensive industry experience, an innovative mindset, and commitment to excellence. They lead teams of committed professionals, empowered to drive the highest possible standards of customer service, safety, technological solutions, fiscal responsibility, and diversification to futureproof our business for our internal and external stakeholders.
Sarah Moore – CEO
Sarah Moore is an innovative, driven leader focussed on transformation, sustainability, and empowering the supply chain to play a key role in the energy transition. Sarah first began working for Royal Peterson and Control Union (rPCU) 15 years ago and became CEO of Peterson Energy Logistics in 2022 when she also joined the main board of rPCU. She is now Chair of the Northern Europe and Gulf board for Peterson and Control Union. Sarah embodies an entrepreneurial spirit in her approach. In 2012, she founded a digital consultancy which remains part of the Peterson group. It delivers efficiencies for its clients through technology and innovation, improving their agility. She is committed to the long-term impact Peterson can play in terms of the economy, industry, and the development of its people, as well as its role in the communities and environs in which it works. She sits on the board of OEUK and is Vice Chair of its contractor council, as well as a member of the finance, renumeration, audit, and nomination committee. As Vice Chair, she is committed to improving the connection between the energy supply chain and the wider clean-energy sector. She is also a Trustee of the University of Aberdeen Development Trust and sits on the board of the UK’s only private sector-led economic development body ONE. Her sharp focus on digital and commercial innovation in the supply chain is leading Peterson into new partnership models globally with clients across the all-energy and supply chain spectrum.
Steef Ritzema – Chief Operating Officer
Steef Ritzema uses learnings from different industries and regions to strategically lead our operations, unburdening customers through strategic, efficient, and thoughtful solutions which address and pre-empt challenges. As Chief Operating Officer, Steef drives our focus on operational excellence and consistency across the organisation. His experience in optimising complex logistics operations and collaborative solutions within the offshore sector reinforces his capability to drive performance and consistency across our global network. He is also responsible for Peterson’s consultancy in the Middle East and Australia and is Netherlands board member for Peterson & Control Union (PCU). He sits on PCU’s Northern Europe and Gulf board as Regional Director for the Gulf. Steef, alongside Managing Director for the Netherlands Mark Hol, leads on our management and facilitation of the SNS Pool which Peterson has led for 20 years. The Pool brings offshore energy operators together for vessel sharing, supply base operations, and materials management. Steef sits on its steering committee which has recently introduced four offshore wind developments to the concept creating a unique sharing initiative between different offshore industries. Steef has been with the business for several years and has demonstrated strong leadership across multiple regions and logistics disciplines including as Managing Director in the testing, inspections, and certifications business in Asia before moving to Peterson as Managing Director for the Netherlands and Middle East in 2021.
Stuart Florance – Managing Director UK
Stuart Florance is a relationship-focussed leader, with a solid understanding of the interconnectedness of operational success, customer satisfaction, engaged employees, and commercial gain. As Managing Director UK, Stuart is responsible for leading our operations, business development, strategic planning, resource requirements, and infrastructure needs across our eight operational sites in the UK. Stuart works closely with the wider Peterson leadership team, as well as management and delivery colleagues throughout the business to ensure innovation, operational excellence, safety, optimisation, and collaboration drive all we do across our quaysides, warehouses, transport hubs, Control Towers, and support services. Stuart joined Peterson in 2026. With a career spanning operational delivery, as well as technical and project management before moving into senior corporate leadership, Stuart has worked in a number of international contexts over the past 25 years.
Mark Hol – Managing Director Netherlands
Mark Hol leads our four companies in the Netherlands with teams responsible for integrated logistics services for the offshore industry which include vessel chartering and planning, supply base operations, customs, chemical and fuel handling, helicopter logistics, as well as the facilitation of pooling/sharing of logistics services through the Southern North Sea (SNS) Pool. Peterson has managed the SNS Pool for 20 years. The Pool brings offshore energy operators together for vessel sharing, supply base operations, and materials management. Mark has joined our COO Steef on its steering committee which has recently introduced four offshore wind developments to the concept creating a unique sharing initiative between different offshore industries. Mark joined Peterson in 2021 following a successful sales and business development career across a diverse range of industries including FMCG and food and beverage. He held the roles of Senior Business Manager and Commercial Director before being appointed the region’s Managing Director. Mark’s innovative commercial approaches and leadership have driven significant growth in Peterson’s development in the offshore energy sector, with a commitment to working in close collaboration with customers to create and deliver services which lead to tangible benefits.
Jason Hendry – Director
Jason Hendry has been responsible for our UK operations driving the direction, business development and strategic planning, resource requirements, and infrastructure needs across our UK businesses. Jason joined Peterson in 2013, initially managing our Edzell facility before leading our work across sites in England. He then moved into a UK-wide role in 2024. Jason has also been responsible for our engagement with the nuclear sector, as well as our current and future developments with renewables customers across the UKCS. He was previously an RAF Engineering Officer. Jason is driven by operational excellence and ensuring our operating models, as well as the skills and knowledge of our people, are best addressing the needs of our current and future customers across the full energy spectrum of oil and gas, offshore wind, carbon capture and storage, nuclear and hydrogen.
Andrew Ellis – Commercial Director
Andrew Ellis is committed to achieving best value for our stakeholders and customers through sound commercial approaches, drawing upon his 30 years of professional experience in the energy supply chain industry. Andrew joined Peterson in 2018 having previously held senior positions with operators and service companies, providing him with a broad insight into the needs and demands of the industry and how the supply chain can best support the objectives of its clients. Andrew is responsible for leading all commercial and supply chain activity for Peterson, working closely with clients and internal stakeholders. He also leads our portfolio brand companies which span a range of industry-critical services, as well as Commercial Director for the Northern Europe and Gulf region for Peterson and Control Union. Andrew is a member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply and sits on the Prosper North-East Scotland Committee.
Christine Dodds – Finance Director
Christine Dodds is an experienced financial professional with a commitment to robust business planning to empower strategic growth. Christine joined Peterson in 2024 from an oil and gas exploration company where she held financial reporting and business planning roles. Prior to that, she worked for two of the big four accountancy firms in the UK and overseas. Christine leads the finance and shared services teams, driving financial success and strategic growth for Peterson as it develops the business in line with the opportunities afforded by the energy transition. She is also Finance Director for the Northern Europe and Gulf region for Peterson and Control Union. Christine is committed to promoting equity in the energy industry and works with organisations to drive better representation of women in the sector. She sits on the OEUK Diversity and Inclusion taskforce and is involved with the Axis Women’s Network in Aberdeen. Christine also sits on the board of Aberdeen Performing Arts.
Keith Dawson – Director of HSEQ
Keith Dawson is a committed health and safety professional who is driven by ensuring all that we do at Peterson is of the highest standards to protect our people, as well as our equipment, sites, and the wider communities and environment in which we operate.  Keith leads our Goal Zero ‘no harm’ and Life Saving Rules commitments and strongly believes in empowering a culture at Peterson to maintain that each and every person takes responsibility for their actions and feels they can drive change. Keith is leading our sustainability journey and net zero roadmap and manages the adherence to a range of standards and qualifications which ensure our business is operating to high standards. He is also responsible for our mental health safety programme.  He also holds a global health and safety role for Peterson and Control Union. Keith has worked for Peterson for 25 years, firstly in the role of operative before moving into the health, safety, security, environment, and quality space 18 years ago. Keith has chaired the OEUK security of supplies and materials guidance working group, as well as the industry best practice cargo handling guidelines, and currently sits on the Marine Safety Forum (MSF) steering committee. 
Steven Burns – Head of HR
Steven Burns is a people and culture leader who firmly believes that the success and growth of our business is underpinned by our people. He is focussed on adapting and evolving our people strategy to respond to the energy transition, positioning Peterson as an employer of choice to attract and retain the best talent.   Steven creates people strategies aimed at maintaining great cultures and championing better working lives throughout the employee life cycle from recruitment, onboarding, training and development, growing talent and succession, and performance.    Steven joined Peterson in 2012 and spearheads our people culture including leadership development, organisational change, and employee engagement. He is also HR Director for the Northern Europe and Gulf region for Peterson and Control Union. He has a degree in corporate communications and a postgraduate diploma in human resources. Steven previously worked in the public and retail sectors. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and trained to administer psychometric testing. 
Jaye Deighton – rPCU Global Head of ICT and Innovation
Jaye Deighton is a passionate advocate for the power of data in transforming how businesses plan, make decisions, and analyse their performance. She is an inspiring leader who is responsible for empowering a culture of innovative thinking throughout Peterson. Jaye identifies efficiencies and new ways of working through technology and is responsible for our Lighthouse ecosystem of software applications which digitises the end-to-end logistics supply chain driving business critical insight and decision-making. Jaye was Peterson’s Projects and Innovation Director, prior to that she was Managing Director of Core29. Jaye is now the global lead for ICT and Innovation for Royal Peterson and Control Union but remains part of Peterson’s management team representing digitalisation. Jaye has more than 15 years of industry experience focussed on digitally transforming businesses. She holds an MBA and a degree in business management.
Iain Corbett – Principal Legal Counsel
Iain Corbett is an experienced commercial and energy solicitor with a strong track record of providing comprehensive legal advice and support to large multinational companies across various sectors, including financial services, technology and energy. Having worked as a lawyer in Scotland for more than a decade, Iain has gained a deep insight into commercial models and the intrinsic connection between governance and business success, as well as leadership and strategic skills which ensure he is offering timely, pragmatic and commercial legal advice which adds value to the Peterson business. Iain has significant experience of managing innovative, high-value and complex legal transactions. He is responsible for the legal function within Peterson – this includes providing strategic legal advice to assist with achieving our goals, providing relevant and focused training to our business, and management of compliance and governance matters. As well as his work for Peterson, Iain holds in a global role as part of our Royal Peterson and Control Group strategic legal function and is responsible for all matters relating to the group’s UK entities and advising on matters of data protection law including all aspects of GDPR compliance.
Suzanne Mackie – Head of Communications and Engagement
Suzanne Mackie leads upon our communications and engagement outreach with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that we are delivering the most effective and impactful messaging to the right people through the right channels. Our communications strategy profiles Peterson’s expertise, experience, insight, and innovation, connecting what we do to why it matters to our people, our customers, our communities, and our industries. Suzanne has almost 20 years of experience in communications from journalism to public relations, founding a consultancy, and leading communications for a venture philanthropic organisation. Her approach to communications is story-led, empowering people to find the new and exciting in what they do and sharing that in a way which resonates with key audiences. Her team leads upon our public relations, public affairs, CSR, digital, events, internal communications, and design requirements, deploying innovative approaches to how our business is recognised and profiled. Suzanne is heavily involved in her local community and has held a number of professional and personal voluntary roles to share her communications insights with organisations and peers.
Gregor Wilson – Projects and Innovation Manager
Gregor Wilson is responsible for the development and delivery of our operational technology areas of strategic focus including our market-leading Lighthouse suite of applications which digitises the entire logistics supply chain. Drawing on his 25 years of experience of developing, supporting, designing, implementing, and managing software applications in the energy industry, Gregor translates business objectives into technology solutions which drive results. His passion for technology, software, and data has seen him enjoy a career as a software creator before moving into management roles at technology, consultancy, and oilfield services companies. Gregor manages Peterson’s operational technology project managers who ensure our Lighthouse suite is consistently delivering results for our internal teams, as well as external clients. He is driving innovation to further develop the capabilities and effectiveness of our technology solutions for our operations, as well as growing our outreach to clients keen to embrace Lighthouse on a software as a service model. Gregor is also director of the Braemar Royal Highland Charity which promotes Scottish culture and heritage.
