Anniversary of providing services to Sofia Wind Farm

From aviation to stevedoring, from Den Helder to Lowestoft – Peterson is marking a year of progress on the anniversary of its fully integrated logistics scope with GE Vernova for the Sofia Wind Farm.

Commencing in September 2024, Peterson’s multi-location, multi-service approach has seen the contract extended in terms of time and scope to meet the complex logistical requirements of this significant renewables project.

Peterson Energy Logistics is managing warehousing, stevedoring, transport, local procurement, customs, tank and offshore containers, wate management, emergency response & rescue vessels, as well as the provision of personnel including onshore and offshore material coordinators and offshore riggers, crane drivers, and HSEQ employees.

The project is the first offshore wind farm in UK waters to utilise shared cargo runs from the Netherlands through the SNS Pool, which Peterson manages, which is enhancing operational efficiency, reducing costs, and driving sustainability improvements.
