Peterson invests in fleet upgrades to support South-east England operations

Peterson UK New Mercedes Actros L Delivery
Peterson, a global leader logistics and supply chain solutions for the offshore energy sectors, has taken delivery of four brand new large goods vehicles (LGVs), strengthening the fleet based at its Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth sites.
HVO100 is derived from resources like used cooking oils, animal fats, and non-food grade crops and leads to a significant reduction in greenhouse gas emissions compared to fossil diesel. Half of Peterson’s transport fleet has already been converted to using HVO100.
Peterson employs more than 30 people in the region to service customers in the area, both at the quayside in Lowestoft and at warehouse facilities in Great Yarmouth.
Stuart Florance, Managing Director UK at Peterson said: The addition of these new trucks supports us to meet customer needs now and into the future in South-east England.
The SNS is a strategically important region for Peterson and warrants sustained long-term investment in plant and equipment to ensure we remain competitive and well-positioned for future operations.
We are also pleased to support the local supply chain through this investment, with the vehicles being sourced from a dealer in Norwich.”
